Kenya Emergency Relief

More than 10 million people are facing starvation in the East African nations of Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti and Ethiopia. Drought is the primary cause. SIM Kenya's emergency relief project will help direct funds to those with greatest needs during this crisis. Funds will be channelled to local church and ministry partners of SIM Kenya and will strategically assist with food, water and medicine. 

Financial donations will help SIM to be the hands of Christ during this time of tragedy. Cheques can be made to SIM East Asia Ltd. Include 'Project No 92601' on the back.You may also call us for information about online transfers. 

Please pray for: 

-children too weak to run and play 

-local churches stepping into the crisis with courage and sacrifice

-for governments to fulfil their responsibilities towards their citizens

-for Jesus Christ to be present and glorified in every act of compassion

Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA) 

EHA runs 20 hospitals and 30 community health and development projects in various parts of (mostly) North India.

There are a range of opportunities for serving with them, both Long Term and Short Term,. Volunteers placed with them can help make a difference in very needy and under-reached mission contexts.

The hospital is looking for the following personnel :

- Doctors
- Medical Elective placements
- Nurse Trainers and senior nurses
- Allied Health specialists (physio's, occupational therapists, biomedical         engineers)
- Pubilc Health and community development placements (including                   agriculturalists)

Hebron School

Hebron School is an international and co-educational residential school that exists to provide an affordable education based on sound Christian principles. It is situated high in the Nilgiri Hills of southern India at an altitude of 7,500 feet in the Hill Station of Ooty which enjoys a temperate climate. There are around 360 pupils aged from 5 to 19 years who study according to the English National Curriculum leading to IGCSE and A Level.

Hebron was founded in 1899 to cater for the education of the children of Christian workers and whilst this remains a priority we consider applications from those who need an international education. Pupils currently represent 29 nationalities and staff come from India, the UK, Australia, NZ, the USA, S. Africa, S. Korea & Europe.

• Pray for good coordination & collaboration among all home missionaries and staff to mobilize churches and Christians into the harvest fields.
